ABOUT ME...
From everyday rescue work to emergency representation - combining specialist knowledge and passion for realistic scenarios and impressive SFX makeup
My name is Maria Constroffer, I am 43 years young and live in beautiful Saarland. I am a trained paramedic.
I am married and the proud mother of three wonderful children. As two of my three children grew up, my everyday life slowed down a bit and I found the opportunity to concentrate intensively on my future projects and interests.
I have been actively working as an emergency actress since 2016. The art of representation is more than just a hobby for me. It enables me to combine the theoretical and practical knowledge from my rescue service experience with experience in emergency presentation and thus make a valuable contribution to the training and further education of rescue workers.
In my free time I like to travel (also to take part in exercises across Europe, for example) and I volunteer with the Maltesers and in the Quierschied emergency department.
Since "Corona" my focus has shifted more towards SFX makeup, especially silicone prostheses. My interest and passion for this craft was further deepened through a course at Kaupo Academy in “Mold Making and Encapsulated Silicone Wounds”.
My expertise was also asked for in emergency medical service and emergency doctor exams, where I helped to make the exam situations as realistic as possible. Exercises for school medical services and THW exercises complete my repertoire.
All of these experiences have not only expanded my specialist knowledge, but also shown me how essential realistic training scenarios are for the safety and effectiveness of our rescue workers.
In addition to my passion for medical representation, I am also fascinated by the fascinating world of cosplay and horror representation. In these artistically influenced areas, SFX make-up and prosthesis construction in particular are indispensable art forms in which I enthusiastically delve deeper.
